What "online" means: your bills are saved to your account, not just your phone
With BillBabu, every bill, quotation and payment is saved to your account on our servers as soon as you save it. Lose or change your phone, sign in on the new one with your mobile number, and your bills, parties and items are all there. You do not need to take backups yourself.
One login on your phone and your computer
The Android app and the web app use the same account. Make a bill at the counter on your phone, then open the list of bills, parties and items on your computer at home. One plan covers both.
Billing on a PC without installing anything
There is nothing to install. Open app.billbabu.com in Chrome or Edge on your PC and sign in with your mobile number. You need internet: BillBabu doesn't work offline yet.
On the web app you can make GST invoices, estimates and purchase bills, manage parties and items, and turn an accepted estimate into an invoice in one click. PDFs, reports and payment entries are in the Android app.
GST invoices, quotations and purchase bills
Make GST invoices with HSN codes and the right split: CGST + SGST for a same-state sale, IGST for an other-state sale. Quotations are made the same way, with a valid-until date. Purchase bills from suppliers raise your stock. See how GST billing and quotations work.
Payments and dues per party
Every customer and supplier has a ledger with each bill, each payment and what is still due. Record a payment by cash, UPI, cheque, card or bank, with a reference number; part payments are fine. You can also show a UPI QR from your bank account so the customer can pay on the spot.
Is my data safe?
Your data travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is saved to your account, not left only on one phone. You sign in with an OTP sent to your mobile number, and only that number can open the account: BillBabu has no staff logins yet. To delete your account and its data, see data deletion.
Online vs desktop billing software: which suits you
Desktop billing software is installed on one computer. It works without internet, but your bills stay on that computer and backups are your job. Online billing software like BillBabu works on your phone and any computer with one login and keeps your bills in your account, but it needs internet.
If you bill on the move or from more than one device, online suits you. If your shop often has no internet, desktop software may suit you better for now.
