Quotation and estimate maker for small businesses

Make quotations and estimates with items, GST and a valid-until date, share them as PDF from your phone, and turn an accepted estimate into an invoice on the web app. Your quotations, bills and payments stay in one place.

Make a quotation

Make a quotation the same way you make a bill: customer, items, GST, a valid-until date and your terms.

Convert to invoice

Accepted? On the BillBabu web app, convert the estimate into an invoice in one click.

Track every quotation

See every quotation's status: draft, sent, accepted, rejected, expired or converted.

Make a quotation the same way you make a bill

Pick the customer, add items from your saved list (price, HSN code and GST rate fill in), and save. The quotation shows the taxable value, the GST and the total, so the customer sees the full price up front. Share it as a PDF on WhatsApp or email from the Android app. In the Hindi app, quotations are called “कोटेशन”.

Valid-until date and terms

Give every quotation a valid-until date, so the customer knows how long your price holds, and add your terms and conditions: delivery time, payment terms, what is included.

Track status: draft, sent, accepted, rejected, expired

Every quotation shows its status: draft, sent, accepted, rejected, expired or converted. One list tells you which customers to follow up and which quotations turned into sales.

Accepted? Convert it to an invoice (web app)

On the BillBabu web app at app.billbabu.com, each estimate has a Convert button. Confirm, and it becomes a GST invoice with the same customer and items, with no retyping. Converting is on the web app only for now.

Quotation vs estimate vs invoice

A quotation is a price you offer for a job or goods, usually fixed for a period. An estimate is your best guess of the cost, which may change. An invoice is the bill you issue once you have supplied the goods or service; under GST it is the tax invoice. In BillBabu, quotations and estimates are the same document, and an accepted one becomes the invoice. More in invoice vs estimate vs quotation.

FAQ

Does the quotation show GST?
Yes. Each item carries its HSN code and GST rate, and the quotation shows the tax and the total, just like a bill.
Can I convert a quotation to an invoice on my phone?
Not yet. Converting is on the web app at app.billbabu.com. On the phone, make the invoice the same way you made the quotation.
Can I give a discount on a quotation?
Not yet. BillBabu has no discount field; enter the agreed rate on each item.
Is a quotation a tax invoice?
No. A quotation or estimate is an offer. Once the sale happens, you issue a GST tax invoice.
